hey look ma, I made it

After three or so days in Finland, I hopped back over to London to do this study abroad thing. Good, uh? Lots of flights, not a lot of sleep, but that's the life. Not much to say other than I'm just waiting in the airport to go over to the centre itself, but this is the end product of about twenty or so hours on planes in the last few days (I eventually got bored of music and games, if you can imagine that).

Normal, Boring Area Man Seeks to Reclaim Self In A Forest

Samuel Hancock didn’t hesitate to define himself as the “adventurous type.” Last Sunday, Hancock set out into the woods of somewhere in Colorado—but his destination wasn’t a place. “I’ve always felt, like, lost inside myself, you know what I mean? Not physically, though,” Hancock remarked, as he magnanimously posed on the edge of the trail to his supposed awakening.

Colorado is known for its vast and unforgiving wilderness, which Hancock said ultimately finalised his decision as to where to seek whatever he was looking for. “I’m not really sure as to why I decided to go somewhere unforgiving, though. Like, what if I mess up, and commit a felony while on my path to self-actualization? That’s what I’m worried about. Colorado would never forgive me.”

Hancock seemed unaware of the fact that felonies go unforgiven in all areas of the United States, but nobody knows everything. “Agh,” said Hancock, “I just want to find out what I’m looking for.” Although exactly what he searches after remains vague, his plans for the searching itself were clear as day. “I’m going to go sacrifice three and a half pigs to the biggest, gnarliest tree I can find. Probably up in its branches. If that doesn’t help, well, I have a lighter.”

Hancock eagerly set off on the trail soon after. The departure occurred on Sunday, and as of press time, forty-eight hours have passed and nothing has either been heard from Hancock or appeared on the Colorado Fire Registry. A search team will be sent to look for him if he doesn’t return in a day or two, because his mother is getting worried. “He’s nuts. Absolutely bonkers. I just hope he finds out that there’s nothing to find, he’s perfect the way he is. Also, I hope he doesn’t commit a felony.”
